An engagement session is two hours, three to nine months before the wedding, at a place that already means something to you. The brewery you met at. The trailhead you proposed on. Your backyard. The session ends with twenty to thirty portraits you can use for save-the-dates and one important thing the photographs don't show: you'll know what it's like to be photographed by us before the wedding day.
We treat the session like a rehearsal, calmly. You won't be posed; we walk and talk and only stop you when the light, the background, and the moment line up. By the second hour, you'll have forgotten the camera is there. That's the actual goal.
